The two main dangers of Facebook are the phenomenon of “Facebook depression” and how a teenage user can become dependent on social media and the distractions caused by the need, that teenage youths have, to check their social media websites and constantly and keep their own social media profiles up to date.
The claim that Facebook negatively impacts the development of teenagers, can be considered factual. Not ignoring the many benefits and advancements that come from the internet and social media, the disadvantages that they play on teenagers is obvious and outweigh the benefits when it comes to their development.
